Bomb Erig Device Comparison

Bomb-Erig-Device-Comparison BOMB  BOMBERIG

Since we launched the Bomb erigs, the rave has been in the air. We have seen the original Bomb erig coming in black and white colors. After that, we advanced to launch the Teal and Rainbow versions. The latter has more battery power, which means more sessions.

After the original collection, here comes the Sykloud. It is an upgraded version of the Bomb Erigs with a few tweaks to improve the dabbing experience.

Here is a comparison between the original Bomb erig and what the Sykloud presents. Let’s see how the new model revolutionizes your dabbing in 2025.

The original Bomb Erig has its fair share of features that make it stand out. The Sykloud has a few adjustments that make things much better. Here is a highlight of what you should expect from the packaging to cleaning and maintenance on both models.

The Package

You get the following after ordering the original Bomb erig.

  • An assembled Bomb Erig
  • A filling tool for the water
  • Cleaning cotton swabs
  • A small brush
  • A dab tool

If you take apart the Bomb erig, you get the following parts:

  • The electric base
  • Atomizer with a carb cap
  • Glass top

The Sykloud has the same collection, but the atomizer here has a fidget spinner carb cap. The glass top is also redesigned. Overall, both models have everything required to make them work.

At a Glance

The original Bomb comes in two colors—white and black. We also have a few advanced models in Teal and Rainbow colors. Regardless of the color, the body base, made of metal alloy, gets a shiny finish.

The top part contains a dome-shaped glass that serves as a percolator and lighting house. The atomizer has a rotatable carb cap on its designated side.

The Sykloud has the same setting with rainbow, sunset, and black colors. The difference is in the atomizer's appearance.

The Atomizer Features

The original Bomb atomizer is 18mm deep and has ceramic inner walls housed in a silicone casing. The silicone allows you to keep using and holding the Bomb erig even when the concentrates are burning at the highest temperatures.

The inner ceramic walls have a 360-degree heating capability, allowing the concentrates to get an even heat distribution. The rotatable carb cap helps you work on the heat distribution as you inhale until everything is burned out.

Instead of the rotatable cap, the Sykloud has a fidget spinner carb cap. It spins freely on either side to allow better mixing and heat distribution.

The 360-degree sidewall heating capability is still available from the ceramic walls. What’s different is that the walls are thinner, reducing the heating time to 10 seconds.

It’s also deeper, at 22mm, so there are no accidental spills as you inhale. Since there is more burning room, clogging is also less, which eventually leads to easier cleaning.

A well-designed atomizer makes the overall usage of the resources available much better in the Sykloud.

The LED Display

The LED display allows you to view and work on the temperature settings and view the battery level. The multi-purpose button at the bottom of the display helps with all operations.

The design here is the same all through. You can check them out on our Bomb official website for more information. Utilize the offers we have to get awesome discounts.

 Operation

Once everything is assembled, you can start by adding water to the dome-shaped glass. That will help cool the smoke as you inhale. After that, load the atomizer with your favorite concentrate using the dab tool with the package and close the top using the attached carb cap.

The Multi-Purpose Button

You will depend on the big yellow button on any model for most operations. To power on and off, you must click the button five times quickly.

After that, you can select the heating mode.

  • Manual heating mode that requires you to long press the button
  • Auto-heating mode, which is activated by double-clicking on the button

Precise Temperature Control

The same button will also help you select the precise temperature for your concentrates. If you know the temperature you want to use to extract those terpenes and flavors, this is the setting you need.

The Bomb's temperature range is between 200oF and 700oF in original and Sykloud models. Getting to the temperature mode is easy since you only need three clicks on the button. That allows you to control the temperature and set what you like or want to try.

First, you can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius by clicking the button again four times while in the temperature mode. Clicking the button once will give you one-degree increments or decrements. If you want continuous increments/decrements, press the button until you reach the desired temperature.

Once you are done with setting the temperature, wait for three seconds to exit the mode. With everything ready, wait for the green light to glow on the glass, and you will be good to go!

NB: The green light signifies that the concentrate has reached the desired temperature and that it’s time to puff. Rotate the carb cap to ensure the concentrate burns up fully. The models will have different movements here. Once you are done, click the button five times to power it off.

Battery and Charging

The original Bomb has 16 sessions per full battery charge. That can take you on a long ride before the next recharge. The 2300mAh battery gives you those sessions, and recharging takes about 2 ½ hours.

It uses a USB-C port to charge, which is quite fair now.

The Sykloud's battery is more powerful, hence more sessions. You get a 3500mAh battery here, which is rechargeable via USB-C. Charging it takes about 3 hours. On the plus side, you will have more time with it as you enjoy the dabs before the next recharge.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning and maintaining the Bomb is easy, but it must be done after every session. The process and schedule are the same for both models.

First, you can use cotton swabs to clean the atomizer, the base where the contacts are, and the base area where the glass connects. You can dip the cotton swabs in ISO before cleaning for better results.

Soaking the atomizer in pure ISO (90%+ concentrated isopropyl alcohol) improves atomizer cleaning. Never clean the atomizer using water or diluted ISO.

After pouring the water out, you can clean the glass by dipping it in ISO and using the brush provided to clean the airhole at the bottom. Once everything is clean, let it air dry completely after wiping before re-assembly.

The New Sykloud Bomb Erig Improves on Sessions Delivery

The Sykloud version introduces new changes that reduce the heating time. Thanks to the adjusted atomizer and the glass top, there is a better order of operations.

Most of the other features are the same, but a few adjustments to the structure improve things. Also, with more battery capacity, there are more sessions.

Which One is Better?

What’s better here depends on your preference and budget. The original Bomb will cost less than $200, while the Sykloud version is slightly above that mark.

The Sykloud presents a better gesture here since it has a faster heating capability. The newly redesigned atomizer makes it easy to heat the concentrates, keep them in the atomizer, and distribute the heat better, thanks to the fidget.

There is also the new glass design that provides a more cooling effect. Such features, combined with more battery capacity, result in an erig that presents a better dabbing option.

On the other hand, if budget is a major consideration, you cannot go wrong with the original Bomb version.
